Valentino is a mediocre con artist who crosses paths with Kwan, a fellow con artist. Together, they impersonate various people and create numerous schemes to make money.
Simply put, Kepong Gangster is a dark unrealistic Chinese gangster drama about the tragedies caused by a bunch of ridiculously dumb characters… on themselves. Like timing, there’s a Malaysian standard in gangsterism too, I guess.
A three-minute and 20-second long video went viral on social media yesterday (28th July), showing two groups of men reportedly fighting at a mamak stall in Kepong Baru. The incident is believed to have taken place at about 1.07am and involves about 20 people, believed to be gangsters.
